November Roundup: What happened in Sinekdoks during the 30 days of November 2014.
Finally, I’m in the mood to do this recap things in Sinekdoks, which I haven’t done for more than a year. November, with the rainy season, brings back the mood to cinematic experience along with a special-themed Sinek-Talk (for the first time in forever).
01. Cinema Roundup
Not so many movies brought me to the cinema in November. I watched only Interstellar, which made me returned to the cinema twice; Big Hero 6, Disney-Marvel collaboration which turned out being so enjoyable, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 proved a reason that splitting a finale into two parts is no longer fun, and Nightcrawler aimed the awards.
02. Home Roundup
I watched two movies in home (office, actually) during my things: one is Boyhood (2014), Richard Linklater’s most ambitious masterpiece and the other one is The Babadook (2014), an Australian horror that scares literally.
03. Sinek-Talk
In November’s Sinek-Talk, for the first time, I expand the theme into movie (instead of characters and scenes). So, there comes November Rain, with 7 lite dramas to celebrate the amplified feelings during the beginning of the rainy season.
Begin Again (2014), What If (2014), Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), Enough Said (2013), Seeking A Friend for the End of the World (2012), That Awkward Moment (2014), Punch-Drunk Love (2002)
04. Trailer
So many big-buzzed trailers were released during November, but only one trailer that grabbed my attention to the extent that I must write a post about it. That’s why I presented: Inside Trailer: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
After-post:
So, November ended and, here comes December, the finale of 2014. Let’s see what I can get in the end of the year!
