02. Big John Brittle (Django Unchained)
Well, I find no (1) way to shoot someone who tortured us and (2) expression to taunt that person before his disdainful death. Yet, Django (Jamie Foxx) does. While escorting Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) visiting Big Daddy’s plantation, Django sees The Brittle Brothers, cruel overseers and prosecutors, who tortured him. Django then shoots Big John on chest–right on pieces of Bible on his chest. As he dies away, Django taunts with an “I like the way you die, boy!” snub. At least, the death of this character makes a most entertaining death in Tarantino’s universe.
